About Me
Hi, I’m Dani/ Zara MacCallum,
Around here, people call me The House Witch. I won’t be flying in on a broom (unless it’s the one sweeping your kitchen floor). My kind of magic is the quiet, grounded kind- the kind that transforms walls into warmth, chaos into clarity, and a house into a home that truly feels like you.
My path to this work began with transformation. What once showed up as anxiety and hypervigilance became my gift: a sharp eye for flow, a sensitivity to energy, and a deep intuition for what belongs. I don’t just see clutter; I see the stories, habits, and emotions woven through it. My work is about aligning your outer environment with your inner calm, so your home becomes a place that holds you, not one that overwhelms you.
I moved often growing up, always finding ways to make each new space feel like sanctuary. Some kids played house- I redesigned them. Whether organizing a thrift store shelf or rearranging furniture just to feel the energy settle, I learned early how order can soothe the nervous system.
Before founding this work, I spent years in event planning and large-scale production, managing design projects and world tours alike. That experience taught me how to hold the big vision while tending to every tiny detail- a blend of artistry and logistics that now shapes my approach to every space I touch.
I think of this work like that of a doula- guiding transition with care, presence, and reverence. Whether you’re settling in after a move, navigating change, or stepping into a new chapter, my role is to help your home meet you where you are and evolve alongside you.
At the heart of it all, I help you fall back in love with your home- not the perfect one from a magazine, but the real one that reflects who you are now: grounded, evolving, alive, and maybe just a little bit magical.
